5 ways to boost your confidence

It’s Sunday and time for our conversation on “Sunday mood”. Last topic was hard but necessary. This time I will share with you 5 ways that helped me to boos my confidence. Trust me, when you are confident you can conquer the world! And remember: If you don’t believe in yourself, how do you expect anyone else to?

  1. Stay away from negativity and bring on positivityΒ 
    It’s time to evaluate your inner circle, including friends and family. It can be hard but you should consider getting away from those individuals who put you down and shred your confidence. Be positive even if you are not feeling it. Stop focusing on problems in your life and begin to focus on solutions to solve them.
  2. Change your body language and image
    Simple act lice pulling your shoulders back gives others impression that you’re confident. Smiling will make you and others in your company feel better and they will feel more comfortable around you. When you talk to somebody you should keep the eye contact. Also, try to speak slowly and clearly. Because if you don’t it will look like you don’t know what you’re talking about. If you are not totally satisfied with how you look, make some changes. Cut your hair, dye her, dress nicely and if you’re man give yourself a clean shave.
  3. Don’t accept failure and get rid of the negative voices in your head
    Never give up! Never accept failure! There is a solution to everything. Low confidence is usually based on negative thoughts that are always on your mind. If you constantly think how you’re not good enough, not attractive enough, not smart enough etc. then your confidence will just go lower and lower. But that’s not what we want, isn’t it? The next time you hear something negative on your mind just switch it with a positive thought and keep it like that until you remember it.

  4. Be prepared
    Learn everything that you need to know about your job, new project, test, exam in school- whatever is on your “conquer” list. If you are prepared and have knowledge to back up everything that you say then your confidence will grow up.
  5. For tough times: Create aΒ great list
    When there are difficult times it’s hard to stay positive. Right now you should make a list full of things that you’re thankful for and one more for things you’re proud of accomplishing. When you complete then put them on a visible place so whenever you pass by you can see it. And when there is something new that you are thankful for or that you’ve accomplished just add it on lists. And when all negative thoughts and difficult times came by you just read those lists and repeat them loud. It will help you to overcome everything that bothers you.
